The IDT will be held this year at the Grand Hyatt hotel, which is one of the best hotels in Cairo, located right at the Nile river, with a great view. It is located in the center of the city, making it very close to the must-visit Egyptian Museum.

 

We have a limited number of rooms reserved for the IDT participants, and they will be given away on a first-come first-serve basis. More details as follows:

 

Room Price:

Single Rate: 140.00 USD (Grand Twin or Grand King)

Double Rate: 185.00 USD (Grand Twin or Grand King)

 

Please note the above rates are:

· Per room per night

· Inclusive of full buffet breakfast

· Inclusive of 12 % service charge, 10 % sales tax on total bill, 2% city tax on total bill and USD 0.08 municipality tax per person per night.

 

Check-in and Check-out Time

 

Hotel rooms are available for guest check-in after 14:00 hours. Earlier arrival requests are subject to 48 hours prior notice and subject to availability. According to the hotel’s occupancy, Grand Hyatt Cairo reserves the right to charge one extra night for any pre-booked room.

 

Check-out time is 12:00 hours. Late check-out charges are as follows:

Until 1800 hours:  50% of the confirmed group rate (room only)

After 1800 hours:  Full group rate

 

Cancellation Policy

 

One night charge in case of not showing.

 

Reservation Guarantee

 

Each reservation must be guarantee by specifying the credit card number and the expiry date for the card .

1.  The above mentioned rates are discounted group rates for Mentor Graphics account and any one will not send to Marwa Zaghow directly will be subject to the normal room rate at this time .

2. Please send the rooming list to Marwa_zaghow@mentor.com and to marketing_egc@mentor.com.

 

To make your room reservation, fill out this form and fax it to The Grand Hyatt hotel along with a photocopy of both sides of your credit card. Make sure to mention IEEE-IDT on the form. Deadline for doing so is Nov. 16th, 2007.

 

 

Other Hotels

 

Since Cairo is very well-known for tourism, it is easy to find many other hotels that would provide more convenient rates. Taxis are relatively cheap and available at every main road.
